A Very Peculiar Thing Runners in the morning were never as docile as runners in the evening. In the early hours of the day, few people were out jogging, as many were getting ready for work, or still sleeping. It was calmer, quieter. The cool of the night hadn't faded quite yet, and the sun wasn't shining in one's eye. It was a perfect setting, had it not be for the hour.

Prologue- Eliminated PROLOGUE

September 3, 2050, fifteen years ago

Captain Kyle Bates didn't think that his work could get much more stressful. Papers were strewn across the desk, each with a sort of resume for people he didn't know, or ever would, for that matter.
Pictures were mundanely tacked to a corkboard to the Captain's right. A short brunette, a gorgeous blonde, a lanky, balding man… These same pictures floated in front of him in miniature holograms, along with a link for two hundred other random people.

So I'm super inactive on dA. And I realize that. But I guess it sort of just lost it's charm with me. Plus I suck at art. And I have no watchers. So posting writing is a dumb idea.

I don't post to Figment anymore either. Don't be offended. As if anyone reads this.

That drawing is so old. I'm sure if I did it again, I could do lots better. But I guess I grew out of that particular obsession. Now Kartik is too young for me. T_T
